Emmaus High School ... & Road Trip to Canada!

Emmaus is a non public school under the school board of the Palau Evangelical Church. It is a boarding high school for teenage boys coming from the Micronesian regions in the western Pacific.

I'll be teaching Algebra I, General Science, Physical Education I, and Physical Education II.
...

Tomorrow I'll be heading up to New York with Anna Frodigh, Miranda Demos, Laura Klinefelter, and Hannah Serafini to meet up with Gretchen Peck. From there we'll be driving to Cameron ON Canada for a little reunion with friends from the Creation Care Study Program. We spent a semester in Belize with CCSP back in the Fall of 2005 and we were blessed with such a great group of students, faculty, and staff. We're really looking forward to seeing them again :)

I taught at Emmaus for two years from 1981-1983 No e-mail back then. I had to rely on snail mail to keep in touch with friends and family. It was period of my life that helped shape who I am. Some difficult events but also some great memories. Is Mr. Kuartei still the principal? I think he ran for president of Palauin the 90's.

I taught at Emmaus 26 years ago - 1981-83. I bet a lot has changed. It was a tough 2 years in some ways but I also have a lot of great memories. There were no computers back then and I had to rely on snail mail to keep in touch.
